Beware of Insurance Scams

Can you get a cash refund on your car insurance if you don't have any Driving Under the Influence (DUI) citations on your record?

Short answer: No! This is a scam.

You know what they say about something that sounds “too good to be true”?

If you hear about an offer like this, do what one of our clients did and contact us to ask if the offer is legitimate or a “phishing” attempt.

No reputable government agency or insurance company could or would “offer” to make any cash refunds like this–ever!

How dangerous is this scam?

These scammers are after your personal data, particularly your credit card and bank account details, your driver's license and vehicle information, your home and business phone numbers and addresses, and your social security number. They get all this under the guise of getting you to fill out forms for the fictitious “refund.”

The financial consequences of cyber theft can be devastating and recovery can be difficult.

What can you do?

Our agency offers cyber insurance to protect against the financial losses caused by identity theft and phishing operations. Almost unheard of 5-10 years ago, it is now a necessity.

As always, we will suggest any legitimate way to save you money on your insurance. We keep your private information confidential and do not share it with any entity without your permission.

Contact us for more information about cyber insurance and how we can get you protected.
